Las Vegas '11

After the awesome 4 days in Orlando, we flew via a domestic overnight flight to Las Vegas! The place was in the middle of the desert, it was bloody warm! It was very unfortunate that I was the only one above 21 then. There were so many restrictions, it hardly felt like the Sin City the place is all hyped up to be. I am sure I would have enjoyed myself a lot more if my company were 21, like me!
We spent no time idling around. As soon as we managed to check into our room, we dumped our luggages and went exploring the hotel! It was a huge indoor fairground, we even found an indoor amusement park! There were jugglers performing, toy-catching machines, carnival styled game stalls and loads and loads of slots machines in every nook and cranny. It certainly lived up to its name, this Circus Circus hotel we stay in. ;)

We ventured out to check out The Strip. It was a little too hot so we hopped on the next hop-on bus we saw which brought us from the start of The Strip till the very end! The hotels in the area all had their own themes, which was really fascinating and sight-worthy! It was already so beautiful in the day... it really popped at night when the whole strip lights up!

On the ride itself, we spotted the roller coaster in New York New York hotel itself and we were so excited! Immediately after we hopped off the bus, we headed for the roller coaster. It was a surprisingly thrilling ride. I wasn't expecting much since like hey? I just came from Orlando, where all the exciting theme parks are? I was invincible! We didn't even think twice before we joined the queue for the first row. I thought the view from the peak of the roller coaster was pretty breath-taking. It would have been spectacular if we took the ride at night! ^^
We spent the night shopping, watching the dancing fountain twice and walking the strip back to our hotel. The next morning was the Grand Canyon tour, one of my favourite day in USA. ^^
